GUM
GUM - Saatchi & Saatchi's latest brainchild - has
launched CULT-GEIST: a global intelligence network.
GUM matches brands & talent to create
entertainment-based properties targeted towards
reaching urban youth.

Miss Van Gaalen has worked on a number of projects
with GUM, one of them being
4C: an
exhibition/conference, which aims to create an
experience where culture, content, communication
and commerce converge.

DUTCH MASTERS
Dutch Masters – Street Art & Urban Painting is the first ever museum
exhibition on this subject to be held in th Netherlands. Hosted in the GEM in  
The Hague, the exhibition features work by artists that have two things in
common: they make and exhibit their work both in the street and in art
galleries and they've helped shaped modern visual and youth culture.

Curators: Anneloes van Gaalen, Peter van Rhoon and Hugo Mulder.

CODE & RELOAD MAGAZINE
As curator of the art pages in magazines like CODE and Reload, Miss van
Gaalen has been able to bring the work of people like JR, Adam Neate, Mr.
Ministeck, Antistrot, Martyn F. Overweel, Dalek, D*Face and other (street)
artists to a wider audience.

The first CODE gallery was exhibited at the Amsterdam Carhartt store and
the Resfest Festival in Rotterdam.

FACE 2 FACE: JR
JR owns the biggest art gallery in the world: he exhibits freely in the streets
of the world, catching the attention of people who are not necessarily
museum visitors. In what will be his first exhibition in The Netherlands, JR
and guest curator Miss van Gaalen will be showing his work, intriguing
portraits in very large formats, inside and outside Foam Photography
Museum, as well as in the streets of the city of Amsterdam.

PICABIA
While working on VPRO's latest magazine on art and visual culture,
PICABIA, Miss van Gaalen got to make items on some of the world's most
renowned street artists like Adam Neate and the French street
photographer JR, as well as on Beautiful Losers, the world's largest
travelling exhibition on contemporary art and street culture.

Other artists featured in the show were Joep van Lieshout, Madeleine
Berkhemer and music video director Chris Milk.
